Skipper Civil Liability Insurance

The skipper's civil liability insurance covers damage caused to third parties, within the framework of the use of the rented motor vessel and its tender by the skipper and the crew. Are included in the insured risks:

• Damage to other vessels and to port facilities or pontoons.

• Those resulting from a serious fault on the part of third parties and not covered by the RC insurance of the rented vessel.

• Loss of subsequent and proven charter income, seizure of the chartered vessel, accommodation and transport costs as well as financial losses.

Travel Cancellation Expenses Insurance

The insurance reimburses rental cancellation costs and travel costs (outward and return) due to the non-availability of a (non-professional) skipper or one or more crew members. If the stay is interrupted after the trip has started, the additional return costs and the corresponding part of the rental costs contractually are also due. Always well protected: Cover for skipper and crew in the event of waiver or cancellation due to illness caused by Covid-19 or other illness. A no-deductible option is available.

Overseas Emergency Medical Insurance

In addition to the costs of medical care, drug treatment and hospital stay, the insurance for medical care abroad reimburses the costs of transport by ambulance to the country of origin or the costs of repatriation in the event of of deceased.

Personal Accident Insurance

The personal accident insurance of our charter solution provides coverage in the event of death and disability. This also includes a number of aspects that are not covered by accident insurance in general. The skipper and crew are insured for the private use of the chartered vessel, tenders and water sports equipment, as well as for stays ashore of less than 48 hours maximum.

Deposit insurance

The surety insurance reimburses you for the surety that you have deposited if the lessor withholds this surety following a claim.
